The story
Hand-drawn in Luxembourg and inspired by the quiet grandeur of European wine estates, WENGERT takes its name from the Luxembourgish word for vineyard. Its mosaic composition layered geometric forms in deep burgundy, coffee brown, warm beige, and natural wood evokes the textures of oak barrels, stone cellars, and autumn vineyards at dusk.
Composition & care
Carré, 75 × 75 cm. 70% wood pulp Lyocell, 30% mulberry silk, twill weave with a double-face print and our hand-rolled orange hem. Drawn by hand in Luxembourg.
Dry clean, or hand wash cold with a silk detergent. Dry flat and iron on the reverse at low heat.

The story behind the design
The vineyard, the cellar, the harvest
WENGERT takes its name from the Luxembourgish word for vineyard: the burgundy of Moselle grapes, the oak of the cellar casks and the warm sandstone of the terraces, in a check drawn by hand.

Is a silk scarf really for everyday wear?
Yes. The twill is dense and supple, and the Lyocell makes it sturdier than pure silk. It is designed to be knotted every morning.
Will it be warm enough in winter?
Yes. The blend of Lyocell and silk regulates warmth: it keeps you warm in the cold without overheating indoors.
Does it itch like wool?
No. Lyocell and mulberry silk are smooth against the skin, even on a bare neck.
